Privacy Policy

Applies to the KLEIO mobile application ("KLEIO", "the App", "we", "us").

This Privacy Policy explains what information KLEIO collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using KLEIO, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. Email address, username, display name, and optionally a profile photo. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.

Content you create. Photos and images you upload, text or stickers you add, and the projects/exports you create.

Usage and device data. App interactions, feature usage, crash logs, and general device information.

Payment information. Payment is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. KLEIO does not receive or store your card details — only confirmation of your subscription status.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the App's core features
• To power AI-assisted features you choose to use (see Section 3)
• To maintain your account, process subscriptions, and manage credits
• To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, abuse, or fraud
• To understand how the App is used, so we can improve it
• To communicate with you about your account or changes to our services

3. AI Features & Third-Party Processing

Some features — image enhancement, style transfer, AI sticker generation, best-photo selection, and layout suggestions — send the relevant photo(s) or text to third-party AI providers. This only happens when you actively use one of these features.

We use OpenAI and Replicate as our AI processing providers. These providers process content only to return a result to KLEIO, subject to their own data-handling terms.

5. Data Storage, Retention & Security

Uploaded photos are stored in a private cloud storage bucket accessible only through your authenticated account. Raw uploads and thumbnails are deleted after 90 days; exported posts are retained. All data in transit is encrypted.

6. International Data Transfers

Some third-party services listed above operate servers outside India. By using KLEIO you consent to your information being processed in these locations.

7. Advertising

Free-tier users may see ads served through Google AdMob. We request non-personalized ads where supported.

8. Children's Privacy

KLEIO is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Your Rights & Choices

• Access & correction — view/edit account details in-app
• Deletion — delete your account and data from within the App, or by contacting us
• Marketing communications — opt out at any time

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the providers listed above, or when required by law.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect material changes.

Terms of Service

Governs your use of the KLEIO mobile application.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using KLEIO, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use KLEIO. If under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm you have permission from a parent/guardian.

3. Your Content

You retain full ownership of content you upload. By uploading, you grant KLEIO a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to provide the App's features to you. We do not use your personal photos to train AI models.

You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to any content you upload.

4. Subscriptions, Credits & Billing

KLEIO offers optional "Creator" and "Elite" subscription tiers. Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled, billed entirely through Google Play. Cancel anytime from your Google Play account settings.

Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and unused monthly credits do not roll over. Free users can earn limited credits daily via rewarded ads.

Refunds follow Google Play's refund policies.

5. Acceptable Use

• No illegal, hateful, or sexually explicit content, or content involving minors
• No content you don't have rights to use
• No abuse of the credit or rate-limiting systems
• No reverse-engineering or decompiling the App
• No unlawful use of the App

6. Disclaimers

KLEIO is provided "as is." AI-generated results may not always be accurate or meet expectations.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KLEIO is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

10. Changes to These Terms

Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Copyright & Intellectual Property

1. KLEIO's Intellectual Property

The KLEIO name, logo, app design, source code, bundled templates, stickers, fonts, and other App assets not uploaded by you are the property of Jas.

2. Your Content Remains Yours

You retain all ownership rights to content you personally upload or create using KLEIO.

3. Third-Party Assets Included in KLEIO

Some templates, stickers, and fonts bundled with KLEIO are licensed from third parties, including open-source font families under their respective licenses.

4. Copyright Infringement Claims

If you believe content within KLEIO infringes your copyright, contact us with: (a) a description of the copyrighted work, (b) the location within the App, and (c) your contact information.

Delete Your Account

How to permanently delete your KLEIO account and data.

In-App Deletion (Recommended)

You can delete your account directly within KLEIO:

• Open the KLEIO app and sign in
• Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account
• Confirm the deletion when prompted

This immediately and permanently deletes your account.

Request Deletion Without App Access

If you no longer have access to the app, email support@kleioo.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." We will process your request within 30 days.

What Gets Deleted

• Your account (email, username, display name, profile photo)
• All uploaded photos and created projects
• Your subscription and credit history

What May Be Retained

• Records required for tax, legal, or fraud-prevention purposes, retained only as long as legally required
• Anonymized, aggregated usage data that no longer identifies you
